Harvey Store is very pleased to speak today of one of the new and most special limited editions, expected and appreciated by the passionate admirers of the high class luxury brand Mont Blanc. The new collection is dedicated to Luciano Pavarotti.

Considered one of the most appreciated italian artists worldwide thanks to his intense and sharp voice and also for his specific friendly and communicative attitude, Luciano Pavarotti has become popular for performing on the stages of the most important opera houses in the world, charming his audience with masterful performances as “Nessun dorma” or “La Boheme” by Puccini.
In fact, among the most popular exhibits is certainly worth remembering the 1993 role of a protagonist in Central Park, New York, where he performed in front of an audience of about 500.000 people, reaching the milestone of the largest public attending an opera live audience.

Even in this context, the Italian tenor wore, as in most of his stage appearances, a black tuxedo with a white scarf, accessorized with a black bowtie. Mont Blanc has skillfully took this elegant appearance as inspiration for the Limited Edition lacquered in white and black.

Moreover, Luciano Pavarotti used to wear a large and extravagant scarf after all his performances, an interesting detail that the careful eyes of Mont Blanc didn't miss, so as a tribute to the artist, it got represented in the golden plated clip wrapped around the cap.

Another detail worth mentioning in this exciting limited edition signed Luciano Pavarotti is the original way the famous Swiss company named, as a tribute, the “Simplo Filler Pen company” inspired by five famous works that brought the Italian tenor the International popularity: "Turandot", "La Bohème", "Rigoletto", "Un ballo in maschera" e "L'elisir d'amore. In fact, Mont Blanc decided to decorate the caps of this elegant limited edition with five gold-plated rings that also seem to represent the five levels of the opera house in Modena, his hometown, bearing his name: “Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti”.

In order not to leave any detail to chance, Mont Blanc has also decided to offer a further tribute to the Italian artist, decorating the golden nib of this spectacular 750 Limited Edition with a delicate engraving of a bent nail.

This represents one of the great artist's essential rituals before any performance and without which he wouldn't perform. It is known that Pavarotti, before going on stage, used to look behind the scenes for a bent nail that would serve as good luck.

Finally, Mont Blanc wished to bring back Pavarotti's inimitable style, built by extravagant scarves, white hats and bright-coloured flower-patterned Hawaiian shirts, into the design of the Limited Edition. Because of this, the luxury products are decorated by a cone in red lacquer with delicate floral motifs, providing the finishing touches to this limited edition signed Luciano Pavarotti.
